Howdy! I’ve finally decided to dip my pinky toe into the Substack waters. Here’s hoping it doesn’t get shot off! Although I’ve heard that there is a guy who can get me a toe if I want. There are ways. (Yes, that’s two pop culture/movie references in the first paragraph for the price of one. Actually, there is no price. I’m going to start off this Substack as a free blog/newsletter. You’re welcome.)
It’s been almost two months since I left CNN Business. I was relieved to take some time off to reflect and refresh after more than two decades of being on the daily twists and turns of Wall Street hamster wheel. I’ve been channeling my inner Depeche Mode and enjoying the silence. (Plus the severance!) I’m still not ready for a full-time gig per se, but I am itching to write a little more about stocks, Corporate America, cryptos and the broader economy for a wider audience.
So here we are. Starting the week of April 24, I’ll post occasional missives about what’s going on the world of business and finance. I’ll reach out to some of my favorite sources as well so I can continue to share/report their thoughts on the economy and markets. Please subscribe and I hope you enjoy! And that’s that.
